AKN-100-XXXXNA PLASTIC COIL STEEL FRAMING PINS
The STEEL FRAMING PINS AKN-100-XXXXNA series pins are designed specially for the Model 500-Series tools to attach plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), fiber cement siding and soffit to light gauge steel from 68 mil (14 GA.) to 27 mil (22 GA.). These pins are finished with Aericote® 1000 coating which provides ten times the corrosion protection of electroplated zinc. Unlike wire collation, the plastic coil collation eliminates finish burn-through which initiates corrosion

STANDARDS AND TEST MARKS
IAPMO ER-335:  This evaluation report recognizes ET&F® pneumatic pins used to attach wood structural panel sheathing to cold formed steel framing of 20ga to 10ga thickness for horizontal diaphragm construction. Withdrawal and lateral strength design values are also provided for individual pins. 
ESR 1844:  This report recognizes the use of ET&F® pneumatic fasteners used to attach fiber cement HardiePanel® siding, manufactured by the James Hardie Building Products, to light gauge steel framing. 
ESR 2273:  This report recognizes the use of ET&F® pneumatic fasteners used to attach fiber cement Hardiesoffit® Vented Plus™ manufactured by James Hardie Building Products to light gauge steel framing.
ESR 2290:  This report recognizes the use of ET&F® pneumatic fasteners used to attach fiber cement HardiePlank® siding, manufactured by the James Hardie Building Products, to light gauge steel framing and to concrete masonry units.
